Il 28 dicembre, nella provincia spagnola di Alicante, si svolge “La guerra dell’infarinata”. Una festa in cui i cittadini sono divisi in due squadre: i primi simulano un colpo di stato; gli altri cercano di calmare la rivolta, combattendosi con farina, acqua, uova e fumogeni colorati. La festa si celebra da 200 anni per ricordare la Strage degli Innocenti, quando Erode, re della Giudea, ordinò di uccidere ogni bambino.
Each 28th december, in Ibi – province of Alicante, in Spain -, the “The floured’s war” takes place. It’s a festival in which the citizens are divided into two groups: the first is called the Enfarinat (the floured), that simulate a coup d’etat; the other one tries to calm down the rebellion. The teams plays with flour, water, eggs and coloured smoke bombs: the photos taken during the match are beautiful. It has been celebrated since 200 years and it’s linked to the day of the massacre of innocents, when Herod, king of Judea, ordered to kill each baby in order to find Jesus.

Nato a Napoli nel 1988, si diploma in Maestro d’ Arte  sezione Grafica pubblicitaria e Fotografia. Negli ultimi anni ha esposto a New York, Francia, Cina, Bruxelles. Nel 2010 ottiene la GOLDEN CAMERA AWARD dalla Federation European Professional Photographers.  Ad ottobre 2014 la National Geographic inserisce una sua fotografia nel libro “Stunning Photographs”. Nel 2016 ottiene il 3° posto al POY Picture of the year international e nel febbraio 2017 si classifica secondo al World Press Photo nella categoria People Stories.
Born in Naples in 1988, he is graduated in Artistic Master of Graphics Advertising and Photography. In recent years he has exhibited in New York, France, China, Brussels. In 2010 he gets the GOLDEN CAMERA AWARD from the Federation European Professional Photographers. In October 2014, National Geographic puts her own photograph in the book “Stunning Photographs”. In 2016 he won 3rd place at POY Picture of the year international and in February 2017 he was second in the World Press Photo in the People Stories category.
