LA FOTO

Questa fotografia è stata scattata la mattina presto. Ero alla ricerca di semplici immagini di anemoni, ma poi ho cambiato obiettivo quando ho visto un piccolo ragno nascosto in un fiore. Ho tuttavia rapidamente abbandonato le foto al ragno, concentrandomi sui dettagli molto grafici del fiore, che quasi po­trebbe essere confuso con una piuma di uccello.
This image was made early in the morning to enjoy the color of the light. I had come that day to make simple images of anemones and it is by wanting to photograph a tiny spider hidden in the flower that I changed objectives (bigger magnification). I then quickly abandoned the spider photos to focus on the very graphic details of the flower that might be confused with details of a bird feather.

Classe 1972, fotografa la fauna selvatica da 30 anni. Considera la fotografia come uno strumento al servizio della conservazione della natura. E’ co-autore di diversi libri dedicati all’ecologia che combinano contenuti artistici e scientifici. Le sue immagini hanno ottenuto riconoscimenti nei maggiori concorsi internazionali. Attualmente lavora come ingegnere specializzato in progetti di sviluppo ambientale.
François Nowicki was born in 1972. He photographed wildlife for nearly 30 years. He claims above all his naturalistic approach to the service of conservation. He co-authored with Olivier Dangles three books in which they sought to introduce ecology and biodiversity to the general public by combining artistic and scientific approaches. François’s images have already been selected in numerous prestigious competitions (Montier-en-Der, Emotion’aile contest of Namur, Asferico photo contest, International photo contest Nature of Namur, GDT photo contest). Passionate about nature, he has also made use of his knowledge of species and environments in the course of his professional activities. Today, he is an engineer of environmental studies at Cerema and works on the issues related to the consideration of natural environments in development projects.
